This water filter cartridge reduces lead, chlorine, mercury, cysts, turbidity, asbestos, particulates, and some herbicides and pesticides, without removing fluoride. It improves the taste and odour or your water and ice. The Whirlpool PuR Ice and Water Filtration System is tested and certified by NSF International to meet or exceed NSF/ANSI Standards 42 and 53.

This Premium Push Button Refrigerator Water Filter is used in side-by-side refrigerators with the filter located in the top right of the fresh food section. It features a compact, translucent cartridge. No tools required! How To Replace The Whirlpool PuR W10295370A Water Filter:
1. Open the filter cover door, by gently lifting it up. As the door opens the filter will be released and eject slightly from the housing.
2. Pull the used filter straight out. (The water shuts off automatically so you don’t have to worry about flooding your refrigerator).
3. Align the filter so the arrow on the end of the new water filter is facing up.
4. Gently push the new filter into the hole. As you insert the filter, the cover door will begin to close.
5. Push firmly on the filter cover door, until it snaps closed.

For best performance and to ensure clean and safe drinking water, it is highly recommended to change your filter every 6 months.
