Return Policy

HQ has a No Hassle return policy! You may return, at your expense, any item except gas, electrical, or special order parts within 30 days of receiving your order. All returns must be in original packaging with all pieces and instructions included. We suggest before opening or signing for receipt of any package that all customers thoroughly inspect the items for any damage due to shipping or manufacturer defects. Do not sign for receipt of any damaged goods. Signing for receipt of any package is acknowledging that the product is received in good condition. (Please see further damage claim information below)

The item being returned cannot be used, installed or damaged in any way. Returnable items may be subject to a 25% restocking fee. Special order items are non-returnable. Shipping and handling charges will not be refunded. If the product being returned was an error on behalf of HQ Supply we will provide return shipping information and cover return shipping costs. All other returns will be at the customers expense and choice of carrier.

Fill out a RGA (Return Goods Authorization) Form

Any items being returned must be accompanied by an RGA# (Return Goods Authorization Number). To request an RGA# please fill out the RGA form by clicking here. Requests will be responded to usually within 24 business hours. You will receive a response with approval or denial of your return request. If your request is approved you will receive and RGA# and instructions on making the return. The RGA# provided must appear on the outside of the package as well as on any paperwork included. Only items with an approved RGA # will be accepted. We recommend when shipping return items that a carrier with tracking capability is used for protection against loss or damage.

Our warranty with respect to any item sold is limited solely to the warranty of the products manufacturer. HQ SUPPLY makes no other warranty of any kind, expressed or implied. We are not responsible for labor charges or consequential damages of any nature whatsoever. We will not assume any responsibility for improper diagnosis or installation. All warranties are limited to the proper use, application, and installation by a trained individual in the industry, and in all events HQ Supply's liability is limited to the purchase price.

Replacement and repair part provisions. Most manufacturer warranties are replacement or repair part provided policies and are not subject to a refund so please inquire regarding the policy of your particular item. All warranty claims will be processed immediately, with the exception of products which manufacturers require an inspection of said product. Additional shipping charges may apply.

In-Home Warranty
Some products may be covered by a manufacturers in-home warranty. These products cannot for any reason be returned to HQ Supply for warranty work or replacement.

Manufacturers with in-home warranties are limited to the product be serviced in the home by a warranty approved repair technician. This also includes products that may not work at the time of first installation. Manufacturers will not approve warranty claims on products that have been uninstalled and sent back to HQ Supply. The product must remain installed and the manufacturer will be responsible for managing the process of an in-home warranty repair or replacement. Please contact the manufacturer directly. Always check your warranty policy before removing or uninstalling any products in the case that they may be covered by an in-home warranty.

Date Coded Items
Some items are stamped during production with date codes to signify warranty periods. HQ Supply takes no responsibility or makes no promises, or implications that products with date codes are supplied with date codes that reflect an exact warranty coverage period. It is the consumers responsibility to inspect all date codes and verify the manufacturers warranty information before installation. Warranties on date coded items will only be approved on date codes that fall within the manufacturers warranty period from the stamped date.

RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization). No warranty or return items will be accepted without an RMA. All warranty requests must be emailed to returns@hqsupply.ca. Please include your name, invoice number, make, model number, serial number and a full explanation of the warranty issue. Some manufacturers require their own paperwork to be filled out and the proper manufacturer forms must be used and filled out in full. HQ Supply will then provide an RMA # (Return Merchandise Authorization) that must appear on the outside of the returned package as well as any paperwork. Returns with no RMA # will be refused. An RMA # will be provided within 24 business hours. As HQ Supply only claims responsibility for warranty on the product additional shipping and handling charges will apply. Shipping any warranty or returns back to HQ Supply or the Manufacturer is the responsibility and at the cost to the customer. We recommend when shipping warranty or return items that a carrier with tracking capability is used for protection against loss or damage.

General Shipping Policy

HQ Supply makes every effort to have shipping and handling prices and policies that are fair and reasonable. So you may benefit from our competitive pricing, we offer the convenience of delivery to your door, and the added benefit of all items shipped from our own and supplier warehouses closest to your address in Canada. We only use known and trusted courier partners and Canada Post for our Canadian Clients.

For your convenience, all in stock items ship within 24 hours and are delivered within 3-5 days. Please note tracking is uploaded each morning so if your item ships on Tuesday you typically will receive tracking Wednesday morning. If you ordered two or more items, you may receive them in multiple boxes on different days, because of varying item availability and shipping locations. We do not charge you extra shipping for split shipments.

Looking to Ship to the USA?

Most in-stock items ship within 24 regular business hours via AppliancePartsHQ's carrier of choice. AppliancePartsHQ charges a flat-rate shipping of $10.99 to Provinces across Canada. Shipments to Northwest Territories & Yukon and Nunavut will be charged $34.99 flat rate shipping. (These areas also do not qualify for free shipping promotions). You will be advised of the additional freight charges before your order is processed.

For shipments to the United States full freight charges will apply (Min $24.99) and cannot be ordered through the website. For shipments to the US please call our customer care center at 1-800-479-2673. Many products may also be available from our US subsidiary website at www.appliancepartscompany.com.

Other Beyond Standard Destination charges may apply to secluded areas where normal couriers do not deliver. You will be advised of any extra charges before your order is processed. Additional shipping and handling charges may apply in addition to the above for unqualified items. See below for further details.

Additional Shipping & Handling Charges

Unqualified Flat-Rate Shipping Items
Additional shipping and/or handling charges will apply to large, oversized, cubed, or heavy items as well as items that require special handling or dangerous goods. You will be advised of additional charges prior to shipping. The order will be held until written or email approval is received. Damaged items must be claimed within 24hrs. Any items signed for with freight damaged may not be claimed (See Return Policy above.)

Items containing hazardous or regulated materials or some very large or heavy items must be shipped to you via freight carrier - these items are identified at time of purchase. (See note below)*

We do our best to ensure that shipping is correctly calculated before you purchase; however, at times it may not be possible to do so accurately. We reserve the right to notify you after you've purchased an item of any additional shipping or handling charges necessary to deliver your order. If notified of any additional charges, you also have the right to modify or cancel your order for a full refund.

* PLEASE NOTE: Some items cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box and may require a physical address.

Estimated Shipment Time
HQ Supply makes no promises or implies exact delivery times on any shipments. HQ Supply strives to provide top quality customer service and works hard to ship all orders as soon as possible. If your order is received before 12 P.M. Pacific Time, you can expect items specifically marked as IN STOCK on the product page to ship same business day. Shipments reach most major centers across Canada within 24-48 business hours. (Business hours/days are considered Monday to Friday). Items marked as Special Order are either out of stock or located in a warehouse that we do not have a live inventory feed with. Delivery time on these parts can vary per location and are only approximated. If your order is time sensitive, please contact us at info@hqsupply.ca to ensure your products will ship in a suitable time frame. We can offer expedited freight services, quotes are available once we receive the request and item you are looking for.

Shipping & Order Confirmation
Shortly after placing your order, you'll receive an email confirming that we've received your order. You'll receive a second email when your order has shipped. (You'll receive more than one shipment confirmation email if your order is fulfilled in multiple shipments). Please save these email invoices for your records.

Shipping Backorders
With our own inventory located in most provinces in Canada and with our ability to ship direct from the manufacturer or supplier, our fill rates are often unmatched, but occasionally we must backorder or source inventory from multiple warehouses. This means that different parts of your order can come from various locations around the country.

If you order more than one item, we'll make every effort to send available items together. In the event only some of the items in your order are available at a single location, we reserve the right to ship you multiple packages from multiple warehouses. If we elect to break your order into multiple packages, you will NOT incur any additional freight charges.

In the unlikely event we are unable to ship your order complete, we reserve the right to ship the stock we have and backorder the items which we were unable to ship. You will be notified via email of the estimated delivery date for your backordered items. You will NOT be charged any additional freight charges for items that are backordered

Damage / Short Claims
Claims for shipment shortage or damage must be made within 24 hours of delivery. Obvious shortage/damage should be noted next to your signature on delivery receipt. Please open and inspect your order upon receipt. To process any shortages you will require your delivery tag/waybill number, packing slip number & account number.


Special Order Items
All special order items are subject to a 100% deposit and are nonrefundable. No returns on special order items will be accepted.

Special order items require additional delivery time. The average time is approx 7-14 business days. As each product, manufacturer and warehouse location varies HQ Supply makes no promises or implies exact delivery times of any special order products. Time delay cancellation requests on special order items (or any regular stock items) will be denied. If an item is urgent and must be delivered within a certain time we highly recommend not ordering through the website, Contact an HQ Product Team Member for more information to see if we can meet your requirements before ordering.
